Boise police on Wednesday released photos of a man robbing a convenience store of cash and beer on Sunday in hopes someone will tip them to his identity.
The man told an employee he had a weapon when he entered the store at South Vista Avenue and West Cherry Lane about 2:35 a.m., but he never displayed one.
The man is described as 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds. He wore a black coat with a hood, a patterned stocking cap with tassels and very long plaid shorts.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips that led tn arrest. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are asked to call 343-COPS or submit tips online at www.343COPS.com.
