Boise police are investigating a report of a sexual assault after a woman told officers she was attacked by a man as she walked by the Boise State University Campus late Sunday night.
The woman said she was walking on University Drive near Manitou Street Sunday night between 11 p.m. and midnight when she was attacked and sexually assaulted by a man before he got startled and ran away.
The woman said her attacker was in his early 20s with dark short hair and scruffy facial hair. She also said he was wearing dark clothes.
Police are asking anyone with information on what happened to call Crime Stoppers at 343-2677. Boise State students with information can also call the University Security/Police Police Department Substation at 426-6911.
