Nampa man sentenced to prison for fourth DUI conviction

Published: November 19, 2012

A 29-year-old Nampa man will spend at least three years in prison after pleading guilty to his fourth drunken driving charge.

Jason Cardoza was sentenced to six years in prison Monday by 3rd District Judge Thomas Ryan, with eligibility for parole after three years, according to a news release from Canyon County. Nampa police stopped Cardoza Jan. 15 for not having a front license plate and soon arrested him for drunken driving. His blood-alcohol content was .182, which is more than twice the legal limit for driving of .08.

It was his fourth DUI since 2006.
