An intoxicated driver wearing only his boxer shorts was arrested early Saturday after officers recognized the truck he was driving as being stolen from a Boise garage, police said. Blood on the head and chest of Adrian Paz, Jr., 19, of Notus, led witnesses to report him a suspicious person as he left a parking garage near South 8th Street and Broad Street about 7 a.m.
An hour earlier, homeowners in the 800 block of North Houston Road reported their truck stolen from their burgled garage. Police realized the truck Paz was driving matched the description of that truck and pulled him over in the 1800 block of West Farview Avenue.
Paz was first taken to a hospital, where a blood draw was performed. He was then booked into the Ada County Jail for felony grad theft, misdemeanor driving under the influence and misdemeanor malicious injury to property.
