Published: November 18, 2012

Clarence Owsley, the man who had been reported missing by fellow residents of his Boise group home, has been found safe in Nevada.

He is in the custody of the Humbolt County Sheriff's office, awaiting the arrival of his family.

Nevada officials found Owsley after the Boise Police entered him into a national crime information data base.

Boise Police haven't released details about where Owsley was found, nor how he made it to Nevada.

Owsley, 71, left his group home for a walk early Friday morning. His neighbors called police when he hadn't returned by sundown.
