Garden City police were called to the 8500 block of State Street at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday after a report of a fight.

The victim, a 48-year-old Garden City man, said that he got into a fight with three men. One of them struck him several times with a baseball bat, he told police. The suspects fled before police arrived. A witness who lives in the area also saw the fight take place.

The victim was taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as being men in their late 20's. Two of the men were described as Hispanic, about 5’7” tall. The third was a 6" tall man with a dark complexion.
