Benjamin T. Nicklaus is being held in the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after Boise police say they found evidence he was dealing pot out of his Bench-area home this fall.
Police didnt find much pot (five grams) when they served a search warrant at Nicklaus home in the 1800 block of Arcadia Street, located in the Overland Road/Vista Avenue neighborhood, Thursday afternoon but they did find scales, pipes, and other undisclosed evidence that indicated he was selling marijuana from the home, according to reports.
Police began their investigation earlier this fall after getting citizen complaints about a possible "drug house" in the area, including lots of foot and car traffic coming to and from the house, according to reports.
Nicklaus will make his initial court appearance Friday afternoon.
The crime of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver is punishable by up to five years in prison.
