Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State women win at Weber State

The Broncos’ basketball team defeated the Wildcats 70-56 on Thursday night in Ogden, Utah. Lauren Lenhardt led Boise State (3-0) with her second double-double, scoring 13 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Five Boise State players scored in double figures, and Amber Vandiver and Erica Martinez tied career highs with 10 points each.

IDAHO STATE MEN’S BASKETBALL: Portland defeated the Bengals 51-48 in Portland. Chris Hansen led the Bengals (0-2) with 15 points.

BOISE STATE VOLLEYBALL: The Broncos defeated Wyoming 23-25, 28-26, 25-14, 25-19 for their sixth straight home victory. Liz Harden had 16 kills to lead Boise State (19-11, 6-8 MW).

IDAHO VOLLEYBALL: The Vandals defeated New Mexico State 25-22, 31-29, 25-19 in their regular-season finale in Las Cruces, N.M. Allison Baker led Idaho with 12 kills and 10 digs. The Vandals (15-13, 13-5 WAC) will be the No. 2 or No. 3 seed in next week’s conference tournament.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE VOLLEYBALL: Becky Flores and Carly Dranginis each had 10 kills as the Crusaders (14-14, 7-10 GNAC) defeated Alaska Anchorage 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-23 in Nampa.
