The Buffaloes edged Idaho 70-65 on Sunday in Boulder, Colo. Trailing by as many as 11 points in the game and 10 midway through the second half, Idaho rallied to make it a one-possession game but couldn’t hold on at the end. Four players scored in double figures for Idaho (0-2), led by 16 points from junior Alyssa Charlston. Sophomore Stacey Barr had 15 points and a game-high nine rebounds, while freshman Connie Ballestero added 11 points and Krissy Karr scored 10.

IDAHO STATE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Bengals were defeated by No. 25 Kansas 52-36 in Lawrence, Kan. Senior forward Ashleigh Vella led Idaho State (0-2) with 10 points, and junior forward Cydney Horton had a team-high 10 rebounds.
