Ada County Sheriff's deputies are still trying to figure out who took seven guns from inside a Kuna home Wednesday and how they ended up damaged in Kuna Cave.
Sheriff's deputies were sent to the cave Sunday morning after getting a phone call from someone who found five rifles and two handguns inside. Investigators say the long guns had been broken apart.
Pictures released by the sheriff's office Monday show that the rifles appeared to be in decent shape before they were broken.
The guns were among $12,000 worth of property reported stolen from the home on West Isabella Street Wednesday night.
Anyone with information about the burglary or the guns found in the cave is asked to call Ada County Sheriff's dispatch at 377-6790.
