"Auction for the Rivers" is from 6 to 9:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16 at the Boise Train Depot, 2603 Eastover Terrace. Admission is $10 for members, $15 for non-members (or join at the door and get in free)

The event will include silent and online auctions, door prizes, raffles, beer, wine, and world-famous hors d’oeuvres contributed by river enthusiasts.

Over 150 items will be auctioned. Hot items include a raft from AIRE, a standup paddle board from Idaho River Sports, a week of paddling in Costa Rica with Costa Rica Rios, a week’s stay in Akumal, Mexico, guided trips on the Middle Fork of the Salmon and the Main Salmon, outfitted fishing trips, hotel stays, plenty of river gear, and much, much more.

All proceeds from the event benefit Idaho Rivers United, a non-profit organization working to protect and restore the rivers of Idaho.
