A man was walking along old U.S. 30 near Burger Lane in Caldwell at around 6:20 p.m. Friday when a car hit him.
John Myers, 68, of Caldwell, was driving west when he struck the victim.
The man died at the scene from his injuries. Officials haven't released the name of the pedestrian pending family notification. They are continuing to investigate.
