Boise police arrest 21-year-old man for lewd conduct — and two others for providing alcohol to teen victim

Published: November 9, 2012

Christopher T. Hand is being held in the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of lewd conduct after Boise police say he had illegal sexual contact with a child under the age of 16 after a party in July at a Boise home.

Police have also charged 32-year-old Carl R. Robinson and 33-year-old Victoria D. Robinson with felony injury to child for providing alcohol to the teen victim on the night officers say the illegal sexual contact occurred.

Boise police have not released any other details about the case, including if Hand and the teen knew each other or they met the night of the party.

It’s unclear when police began their investigation. Arrest warrants for the 21-year-old Hand and the Robinsons were issued by Ada County prosecutors. Jail records show Boise police arrested the Robinsons Thursday. Ada County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Hand Thursday.

All three will make their initial court appearances Friday afternoon.

The crime of lewd conduct is punishable by up to life in prison. The crime of felony injury to child is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
