• Pomp and pride will hit the streets of Boise with the Veterans Day Parade at 10 a.m. Nov. 10. You’ll see a flyover by the Idaho Air National Guard, 10 marching bands including the Boise Highlanders, representatives of all the military services and veterans organizations, motorcycle groups and the Idaho Free Trappers and their historic muzzleloaders — more than 2,000 people in all. Also, buy collector’s edition commemorative coins ($3 for one or $7 for three) at 11th and Jefferson streets to support the parade. It starts at 10th and Jefferson streets. The route goes east down Jefferson Street to 4th Street, turns right to Bannock Street then returns west back to 10th Street.

• Randy Coryell and the Common Ground Community Chorus will pay tribute to veterans with “Proud to Serve,” a selection of patriotic songs, at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11, at the Special Events Center, Boise State University. Matinee: $5; evening: $10 general, $5 seniors and students. Both concerts are free for veterans and active military. CommonGroundBoise.org.

• The Warhawk Air Museum will host its annual Veterans Day Breakfast, 8 a.m. to noon, Nov. 11, 201 Municipal Drive, Nampa. They’ll serve pancakes, eggs, hash browns and sausage. $6 general, $4 for seniors, veterans, active military and ages 4 to 12.
