Boise Baroque gets brassy this weekend with Telemanns concertos for French horn and trumpet, and guest soloists from the Boise Philharmonic Dan Meier and Justin Stamps, pictured. Telemann, a contemporary of J.S. Bach, was one of the most prolific composers of his day. The program rounds out with Mourets Suite de Symphonies and Respighis Ancient Airs and Dances. You have two chances to catch this concert this weekend one in Caldwell for Caldwell Fine Arts and one in Boise as part of the orchestras regular season.
