The states oldest sports rivalry continues when the two programs meet at the J.A. Albertsons Activities Center in Caldwell. Tip-off is 7:07 p.m. on KTVB 24/7 (Channel 28).
The two teams have played 190 or 192 times (depending on the school), dating to 1933. Northwest Nazarene (NCAA Division II) has beaten the College of Idaho (NAIA) five straight times.
Tickets prices range from $7 to $12 and are available at both athletic departments during the day and at the game. The two teams also play Dec. 4 at the Johnson Sports Center on the NNU campus in Nampa.
About the C of I: The Coyotes are 1-2 under coach Rod Jensen (24-39 in three seasons). Top local player Ben Van Lith, a junior guard from Eagle High (11.5 points, 9.0 rebounds a game).
About NNU: This is the season opener for the Crusaders, who lost to Gonzaga 93-45 in an exhibition game Oct. 27. Top returning players senior guards Keith Moilanen (Brush Prairie, Wash.) and Jon Hawkins (Phoenix).
