Idaho Rural Water Association opens Boise office

The Idaho Rural Water Association invites the public to its new Boise office at 6065 W. Corporal Lane. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Friday, followed by an open house and refreshments.

The association is a nonprofit association of water and wastewater systems in Idaho serving populations of 10,000 or fewer. Its role is to represent, assist and provide training to Idaho's systems.

The association is governed by seven volunteers from member systems and has 11 employees. The association also receives support from larger municipalities, solid waste systems and more than 50 industry vendors.
