A fight at a party near Boise State University early Sunday ended with witnesses rushing a man to the hospital after he was stabbed multiple times.
Police arrested Devin Aaron O'Brien, 21, of Boise, on an aggravated battery charge about 4:30 p.m. for the stabbing in the 1200 block of South Euclid Avenue, which occurred about 3:45 a.m.
The assailant fled the scene and witnesses transported the victim before calling police, but O'Brien turned himself in to officers at the Boise Police Department after a third party contacted him. Officers already had identified him as a suspect, police say.
O'Brien was booked into the Ada County Jail. He is not a BSU student, according to the school registrar.
