Idaho Dance Theatre launches into its 24th season of creative, collaborative contemporary dance with a new work by Carl Rowe to an original composition by Boise’s David Alan Earnest. It vividly explores the nature of “Earth, Wind, Water and Fire” in music and movement. They also will perform Marla Hansen’s “Chakra,” a six-part ballet that touches on each of the six chakra points, and a restaging of Rowe’s “Rorschach,” inspired by ideas of perception and understanding that created the ink-blot test.
