Don’t let this show get past you. If you haven’t seen the wildly creative and colorful “Nick Cave: Meet me at the Center of the Earth” at the Boise Art Museum, this weekend is your last chance. Cave — not the Australian rocker, by the way — is a revolutionary force in art who combines fashion and performance to create three-dimensional, wearable sculptures. Nearly all the galleries are filled with Cave’s life-size costumes made from found objects such as children’s toys, pot holders, sequined appliques and more, all meticulously hand-sewn into fanciful outfits inspired by the classic Jules Verne story.
