Let Boise Little Theater’s production of Peter Shaffer’s delightful comic-tragedy “Amadeus” rock you during its closing weekend. The wildly brilliant, bawdy and foul-mouthed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Matthew Hansen) gets away with everything — womanizing, lying, cheating, gambling — which confounds the devout composer Antonio Salieri who becomes his rival while pretending to be his friend. Through the lens of this relationship, Shaffer’s play wrestles with the nature of genius, destiny and artistic legacy.
