Ada County pet of the week: Janey the dog

Published: October 30, 2012

Janey the dog.

Janey, 3, is a spayed female, yellow, Labrador Retriever mix. Janey arrived at the shelter as a stray and was not reclaimed by an owner. She appears to be housetrained. Janey is a nice, polite girl who is weighs a very manageable 50 pounds. She has a medium energy level and bonds quickly to people who treat her kindly. Janey loves to play with soft, stuffed toys and play fetch with a tennis ball. She will be a great companion for a family with children or an individual who will include her in lots of your daily activities. Janey knows a few basic commands, but an obedience class would be a great bonding experience to her and her new owner. Consider giving this loving girl a test walk.

Janey be found in kennel 423 (#17337501) at the Idaho Humane Society which is located at 4775 Dorman Street in Boise. The shelter is open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
