Police looking for whoever stabbed 24-year-old man at Caldwell Halloween party

Published: October 28, 2012

Caldwell police are still trying to figure out what led to a 24-year-old man getting stabbed twice early Sunday morning at a Halloween Party at a home residence in the 1000 block of Belmont Street.

The man was listed in critical condition at a Boise are hospital Monday morning.

Caldwell Police were sent to the home around 2:30 a.m. Sunday and found that the man had been stabbed twice. Paramedics took him to a hospital while police interviewed people at the home.

None of those people told police they saw a fight or the stabbing, Lt. Alan Seevers said. Police reports do not include any information about a suspected motive or where in the house that stabbing occurred.

The party was not at the victim’s home and police say it did not appear as if he was wearing a costume.

Officers have not yet been able to interview the victim or identify a suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call Canyon County Sheriff’s dispatch at 454-7531 or Crime Stoppers at 343-2677.
