The Cathedral Concert Series will feature chamber music on Friday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Rockies sanctuary, 717 N. 11th St. in Boise.

Performing artists include Craig Purdy, violin; Carola K. Winkle, clarinet; Bill Winkle, tuba, and Peggy Purdy, piano. One of the highlights of the evening will be a work by the late Melvin Shelton. This premiere performance entitled “Every Blessing” was written for Winkles and was Shelton’s last composition. The public is invited to attend the event free of charge. A suggested donation of $10 for adults will assist in operation of the series. Concerts will be held on the first Friday of the month from October through May. Call 343-7511 for more.
