The public is invited to join Mayor David Bieter and the Julia Davis Second Century Coalition at the unveiling of the “Make Your Mark” Plaza from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the new Agriculture Pavilion located between the zoo and bandshell in Julia Davis Park.

The Make Your Mark plaza features sandstone blocks engraved with the names of local farms, ranches and cattle brands, individuals and businesses. Many of the donors to the Pavilion project are involved in the agriculture industry with deep connections to the Davis family, longtime ranchers in the area.

Donations and memorials are still being accepted for the privately funded pavilion project. For information, contact Diane Myklegard, a great grand-daughter of Julia Davis, at 484-1299.
