Nampa police investigating shots fired at vehicle

About 3 a.m. Saturday, Nampa police were called to the area of 6th Street North and Barbara Street for a report of shots fired.

A victim called police dispatch and told the dispatcher he was being chased by drivers in three cars who were shooting at him. Officers arrived and found the victim near 3rd Street S. and Yale Street.

Police found two bullet holes in the victim's Nissan. One of the occupants of the Nissan had been battered, but no one in the car had been shot.

Officers searched the area but could not find the suspects. They found numerous bullet casings in the area.
