Coby Karl, Adam Morrison and Justin Holiday were told Friday after practice that they would be waived Saturday, according to Portland’s team blog. Karl, who played at Boise State from 2003-07, made 5-of-10 shots in four preseason games, including 4-of-5 3-pointers. He added eight assists and five rebounds. Two other players, Dallas Lauderdale and Demonte Harper, are being assigned to the Idaho Stampede, the Blazers’ NBA Development League affiliate.
