Crews on Tuesday started replacing the 55 mph speed-limit signs with 60 mph signs on a four-mile stretch of the Connector between the Flying Wye and River Street.
The new speed limit will take affect with the changing of the signs.
The Connector averages about 57,000 vehicles per day.
