Winter camping rates, which are half price, go into effect at Idaho Power parks on Nov. 1.
The final weekend of full-price camping is Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27-28, at the power companys parks at Hells Canyon and C.J. Strike Reservoir.
Water to the camping spaces and RV dump stations in the Hells Canyon parks (Copperfield, Woodhead, McCormick and Hells Canyon) is shut off during winter months.
Electricity is available at RV sites all year. Restrooms and showers have water year-round.
At C.J. Strike, water in the camping areas (North, Scout, Locust and Cottonwood parks) is shut off when winter rates are in effect.
Restroom buildings at North and Scout parks have water year-round.

The Payette National Forest is asking for comments from snowmobilers and skiers on a proposed temporary closure of 4,730 acres on Granite Mountain near McCall to snowmobiles this winter.
An open house is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, at the forest supervisors office, 800 W. Lakeside Ave., in McCall.
The closure from Jan. 15 to March 31 is to create backcountry skiing opportunities.
Boise rock-climbing author Sandy Epeldi has released a new trail book for the Boise area and is planning two book signings in Boise.
The signings are from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., Friday, Oct 26, at Roosevelt Market, 311 North Elm Ave. in Boise and at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov 13, at the Idaho Outdoor Association Hall, 3401 S. Brazil St. in Boise.
Epeldi wrote the book, Boise Backcountry Adventures, with Dave Nevins. It focuses on hiking, trail running, mountain biking, fishing, canyoneering and light mountaineering.
The book covers the Boise Front, Owyhee Front and Boise National Forest.
Boaters can learn about the dangers of cold water during a free safety seminar, from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Oct. 27.
The session will be at the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation headquarters office, located at 5657 Warm Spring Ave., in Boise.
