Here’s your warning. There’s plenty of time to start digging out your used ski and snowboard gear.

The 62nd Annual Ski & Snowboard Swap is back again at Expo Idaho, 5610 Glenwood St. in Garden City.

The swap benefits the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation (BBSEF).

WHAT’S COOL

The swap is one of the largest in the Northwest, with more than 20,000 new and used sale items including skis, boots, snowboards, cross-country gear, snowshoes, clothing and accessories.

SALE HOURS

The swap opens to buyers 5 to 10 p.m., Nov. 2. It continues from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Nov. 3 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 4.

ADMISSION

Admission is $5 on Nov. 2, $3 on Nov. 3 and free with a canned food donation for the Boise Rescue Mission on Nov. 4.

SELLERS’ CHECK-IN

Sellers can start checking in their equipment at 3 p.m. on Nov. 1. Sellers have until 5 p.m. Nov. 4 to pick up their unsold items.

Sales commissions from the event benefit the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation, a nonprofit youth sports organization for athletes who want to compete in alpine ski racing and freeride skiing.
