Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State soccer rallies for draw against UNLV

Junior Katy Oehring scored the tying goal for the Broncos at the 51-minute mark on a direct free kick from 25 yards out Sunday in Boise. It was Oehring’s fourth goal of the season, second-most on the team. BSU has already clinched a berth to the Mountain West Tournament in San Diego. The Broncos sit in third place, one point ahead of UNLV and two points ahead of Nevada and Fresno State.

IDAHO SOCCER: The Vandals defeated Louisiana Tech 2-1 in Ruston, La., ending the Bulldogs’ 11-match winning streak. The Vandals improve to 5-12-1 overall, 2-3-1 in WAC play.

IDAHO VOLLEYBALL: The Vandals beat San Jose State 25-17, 26-24, 23-25, 25-7 on Saturday night in Moscow. Freshman Katelyn Peterson led Idaho (10-11, 8-3 WAC) with a career-high 17 kills.
