BOISE STATE MENS TENNIS: Andy Bettles lost to New Mexicos Sam Iftikhar 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 in the semifinal round at the Mountain Regional Championships in Las Vegas. In doubles, Bettles and Nathan Sereke defeated the No. 1 seed from Denver before losing in the semifinals to a team from UNLV.
IDAHO STATE WOMENS SOCCER: The Bengals defeated North Dakota 3-0 on Saturday. The win clinched a share of the conference title and earned Idaho State (11-5-1, 6-2-1) the right to host the conference tournament Nov. 2. It is ISUs first regular-season title since 2006.
