The Discovery Channel’s series “Devil You Know” will profile one of Boise’s more gruesome and high profile cases, that of Judy Gough. The episode “Buried Secrets” will air at 8 p.m. on Oct. 31.

In 2008, Gough admitted to killing her husband, Lloyd Ford, in 1980 and is serving a 10-year prison sentence for second-degree murder. The murder was a secret known only to members of Gough's family until 2007 — when Judy's daughter, Kimberly Wright, who was 12 when she witnessed her mom shoot Ford with a rifle, told Boise police what happened.

Gough claimed that Ford abused her, a claim that Wright — who now goes by Wohlert — disputed during the trial.

The episode will focus on Wohlert whom Gough forced to help her bury Ford’s body in the backyard.

The show includes interviews with Wohlert, members of her family, investigator Brian Lee and former TV reporter Ysabel Bilbao.

This is the second time this case has been profiled on television. NBC’s “Dateline” aired an episode on it in 2010.
