Steelheads forward Tristan King scored four goals in regulation as Idaho defeated the Colorado Eagles 7-6 in a shootout Wednesday night in Loveland, Colo. Andrew Carroll and Kael Moullierat also scored for Idaho (1-2) to give coach Brad Ralph his first victory on his 32nd birthday. Idaho goalie Tyler Beskorowany turned away 4-of-5 shots in the shootout to nail down the win. Prior to the game, Ralph added four players to his roster.
Mouillierat, a forward, was named to the all-ECHL rookie team while playing with Idaho in 2011. He had a goal and an assist Wednesday.
Adrian Foster was a first-round draft pick in 2001 by the New Jersey Devils. The 30-year-old AHL veteran had four assists Wednesday.
Defenseman Hubert Labrie played 14 games for Idaho last season. Labrie was assigned to the Steelheads by the Dallas Stars organization.
Forward Sam Carrick, 20, was drafted in the fifth round in 2010 by the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was assigned to Idaho by the Toronto organization.
