The Elmore County Sheriff's Office got a call Friday about a shooting incident involving a 10-year-old girl.

The girl, say police, was on a hunting and camping trip with her family and friends in the Pine/Featherville area when she was shot in the groin.

She was taken by air ambulance to a Boise hospital. The Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident. No details about the shooting or updates on the girl's condition were available Saturday afternoon.
