CAPITAL 42, BOISE 41

Capital led 21-0 at the end of the first quarter, but Boise fought back until the Braves’ point-after kick to tie was blocked. Both quarterbacks sparkled: Capital’s Makena Simis had five TDs, threw for 161 yards and rushed for 189, and Boise’s Tanner Gustavsen had five TDs with 369 passing yards and 109 rushing yards. Boise’s Skyler Rowe had game-highs with 10 catches for 204 yards.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 53, CENTENNIAL 22

Centennial led 6-3 in the first quarter, but Connor Armstrong’s 30-yard TD pass from Kai Turner before halftime gave Mountain View a 44-6 lead at the break. Armstrong had eight catches for 146 yards and two TDs, and Josh Buss gained 156 rushing yards on 24 carries for Mountain View.

MERIDIAN 39, TIMBERLINE 36

Meridian earned its first win as Bryson Stout rushed for 110 yards and scored four total TDs, and Jake Berard pitched in 131 rushing yards for the Warriors. Meridian gained 380 yards on the ground. Kellen Copeland scored three TDs and had 122 total yards for Timberline.

KUNA 42, CALDWELL 9

Kaden Votroubek’s 244 passing yards and five TDs ignited Kuna’s blowout, and Dusty Beaman blocked a punt and recovered it in the end zone for the Kavemen.

SKYVIEW 41, NAMPA 17

Skyview overcame a 17-13 halftime deficit with 28 unanswered points, as Jaxon Pryor rushed for 142 yards and four touchdowns.

FRUITLAND 28, WEISER 7

Fruitland won the 3A Snake River Valley title and locked up the No. 1 playoff seed with a 22-point fourth-quarter outburst. Lane LaCrone had an 8-yard interception return for a TD and a rushing score, and Ryan Rule contributed two fourth-quarter rushing TDs.

MCCALL-DONNELLY 26, COLE VALLEY 12

Zach Lowen scored on a 1-yard run and a 40-yard fumble recovery for McCall-Donnelly, and Tallen Eveland had six catches for 152 yards and a TD for Cole Valley.

NEW PLYMOUTH 60, MELBA 28

Dakota Stallions had 143 rushing yards and four TDs for New Plymouth.

GARDEN VALLEY 52, WILDER 46 (2OT)

Jaime Miramontes scored on a 22-yard pass from AJ Castellanos with 30 seconds left in regulation, and Lance Jones’ 3-yard TD catch from Kavik Fairburn won the game after a Wilder fumble in the second OT.
