A 10-year-old girl was shot during a family hunting and camping trip in Elmore County on Friday.
The girl was shot in the groin in the Pine-Featherville area, according to the Elmore County Sheriff's Office. She was transported by helicopter to a Boise hospital, where her condition was not known late Friday.
Sheriff's officials were notified of the shooting at 11:08 a.m. An investigation is ongoing.
