The Broncos shot a 3-over 291 in the final round of the Prices Give Em Five Invitational on Wednesday in Las Cruces, N.M. The 291, which moved BSU into a tie for fifth place, set a school record for lowest single-round team score. The previous record was 294, set in the second round of the Bobcat Desert Classic in 2004. BSU finished the three-day tournament with a school-record team total of 893, three strokes better than the previous record of 896, set at the Heather Farr Invitational in 2008. Senior Hayley Young posted her second straight top-10 finish, shooting a career-best 219 to tie for seventh place. The finish marks her eighth career top-10 finish, and gives her sole possession of second place on Boise States all-time list. Kansas won the team event at 871.
