A new outdoor recreation gear and clothing consignment store, Outdoor Exchange, opens at 11 a.m. on Thursday at 1415 W. Grove St. in Boise.

Owners say they will buy, sell and consign top-of-the-line gear for biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, backpacking, camping, rafting, kayaking, and more.

After a consigned item has sold, the person will get a check or store credit for 60 percent of the purchase price. Between Thursday and the store’s grand opening on Oct. 27, it will offer consigners an additional 10 percent back.

Starting Thursday, store hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and closed Mondays. For details call 297-7002.
