Vikings defensive end Jared Allen (Idaho State) sacked Tennessee quarterback Matt Hasselbeck in a game where Minnesota's defense held the Titans to 267 total yards, including 52 rushing, in a 30-7 Vikings win.
Allen credited Minnesota defensive coordinator Alan Williams with getting a group of veterans and youngsters to perform well together, helping Minnesota to a 4-1 record.
"I think its been a combination of him knowing what we can do well and us knowing what we can do well in the system," Allen told the (Minneapolis) Star Tribune of Williams.
Falcons tight end Tommy Gallarda (Boise State) had one reception for 7 yards. It was his first NFL catch.
Browns defensive end Billy Winn (Boise State) had two tackles.
