Garden City Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a string of self-storage unit burglaries in September, police said in a release Sunday.
Jonathan A. Alvarez-Flores, 19, of Boise, and Joseph D. Walworth, 18, of Garden City were both charged with seven counts of felony burglary and 17 counts of attempted burglary.
Additionally, Alvarez-Flores was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor driving without privileges. Walworth was charged with misdemeanor petit theft and misdemeanor failure to appear in court. They may face more charges, police say.
Police began investigating the men in connection with the burglaries two days ago, after police observed Alvarez-Flores' vehicle loitering near a closed business at 37th and Clay streets.
Both men are being held at the Ada County Jail. They are scheduled to be arraigned Monday afternoon.
