Still one of the more original voices in rock, Alanis Morissette hits the Knitting Factory next week with her “Guardian Angel” tour. A former child actress turned dance-pop diva, Morissette became close to a household word with her 1995 blockbuster “Jagged Little Pill,” which featured the now iconic hit “Ironic.” Since then, she continues to prove herself a sophisticated and insightful songwriter. She has a new album out, “Havoc and Bright Light” and will play songs from that, plus hits like “Ironic,” “Hand in my Pocket” and “Thank U.”
