Get your zombie outfits ready: You can be part of 'Thrill the World Boise 2012'

Thrill the World is an annual worldwide simultaneous dance performance of Michael Jackson's "Thriller." This is the fourth year that the Boise has participated in this international event.

Rehearsals are now in progress at the Old Penitentiary and the Downtown YMCA. They will continue throughout October. The public is invited to participate in this free happening.

The official performance will take place at 1 p.m., Saturday Oct. 27 at the Grove Plaza. Other performances are planned for Oct. 26 and Oct 27 at various venues:

Oct 26: Frightened Felons, 9:30 p.m. at the Old Penitentiary

Oct 27: Dance of the Dead, Off Center Dance, 4 p.m. at the El Korah Shriners

Oct 27: Dance of the Dead, Off Center Dance, 8 p.m. at the El Korah Shriners

Oct 27: Frightened Felons, 9:30 p.m. at the Old Penitentiary
