A Tuesday Facebook post claims the white-power group Hammerskin Nation's annual event will take place at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Shredder, with tickets going for $25. A Sunday post by Antipathy Records, the Hammerskins' record label, also claims Hammerfest will take place at the Shredder.

Both are wrong, Shredder owner Justin Cantrell said.

"There’s no way possible it’s going to happen in the Shredder," Cantrell said Tuesday. "We’d never do anything or be affiliated with those guys."

The Shredder is a small concert venue located near the intersection of 10th and Myrtle streets.

Requests for interviews with members of the Hammerskin Nation were denied or did not receive responses.
