Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State women’s golf tied for fifth in Oregon

A trio of Broncos are in the top 20 after the first two rounds of the Rose City Collegiate in Aurora, Ore. Boise State will seek its first top-five finish in nearly two years when play concludes Tuesday. Seniors Hayley Young and Lori Harper are tied for 12th after rounds of 8-over 152. Freshman Samantha Martin is one stroke back and tied for 16th. BSU is eight strokes back of leader Seattle (594).

COLLEGE OF IDAHO MEN’S GOLF: Kyle DeLorey is tied for seventh at 1-over 73 after the opening round of the NAIA Fall Preview in Salem, Ore. DeLorey is the only C of I golfer in the top 30. As a team, the Coyotes (325) are in ninth place — 34 strokes back of leader Texas Wesleyan (291). Play continues Tuesday.
