First-year coach Brad Ralph will get his first look Monday at the 21 hockey players hes brought in for this seasons training camp.
Idaho will hold its first practice at 10 a.m. Monday at CenturyLink Arena. The team will practice again from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Wednesday, and those two practices are open to the public, giving fans a chance to see the newest version of the Steelheads.
Idahos roster as it stands now features 12 forwards, seven defensemen and two goalies. Three other Idaho players are attending the Texas Stars training camp. Texas is one level above Idaho in the triple-A AHL.
The team will practice all week in preparation for its first preseason game, which is Friday night at Utah. The next night, the two teams will square off at CenturyLink Arena in a season-ticket holder-only game. That contest begins at 7:10 p.m.

Fans who purchase tickets Monday for the Steelheads season opener against the Utah Grizzlies on Oct. 12 will receive a free ticket to the Steelheads game against the Ontario Reign on Oct. 24.
