Boise police investigate report of robbery of U.S. Bank on Fairview

Boise police are investigating a report of a robbery of the U.S. Bank at 7230 W. Fairview Avenue.

Witnesses tell police a man walked into the bank at 9:27 a.m Thursday and demanded cash from a teller. Witnesses say the man did not display any kind of weapon during the holdup and was last seen walking away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Witnesses say the robber was about 6 foot to 6 foot 3 inches tall and was wearing a red shirt, a red hat, dark jeans and sunglasses.

Boise police are currently searching the area of Fairview Avenue and Cole Roads for the robber but have not yet been able to find a suspect.
