Comment deadline set Sept. 30 on fishing rules
Idaho Fish and Game is taking comments on proposed fishing regulations and also the draft of its six-year fish plan. A list of the proposed changes and the draft are available at any F&G office. You can also review changes and proposals or submit your comments through the agencys website at fishandgame.idaho.gov. Search for proposed fishing rules.
One statewide proposal calls for approving the publication of the fish rules booklet for a three-year period rather than the customary two-year cycle. Circumstances forced the department to do this in 2010, when the current rules were extended through 2012. The move was well received by the public, F&G said.
