Prospective students interested in applying to Boise State University are invited to attend Discover Boise State on Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Additional sessions will be offered Jan. 19 and March 2. The program is free.
This introduction to the university includes a number of activities, including a student resource panel addressing admissions, financial aid and scholarships, campus recreation, Honor College, major exploration, academic advising, student housing, jobs and internships, and study abroad programs; academic workshops focused on arts and sciences, education, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), social sciences, business and economics, and health sciences and nursing and much more.
The university will provide a free pizza lunch.
Another option is Blue and Orange Saturdays, which kick of on Sept. 29. Prospective students are invited to a one-hour information session from 10-11 a.m., followed by a two-hour campus tour from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Additional sessions are slated for Nov. 10, Feb. 9, March 16, April 13 and May 4.
