Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State soccer team suffers late loss at Navy

The Midshipmen scored in the 90th minute to take a 2-1 victory over BSU on Friday in Annapolis, Md. Two freshmen helped get the Broncos (4-6-1) on the board and tie the game at 1-1. Kelsey Nicassio lobbed a ball on a free kick, and it was headed in by KT Clayton. The assist and goal each were the first of their respective collegiate careers.

IDAHO SOCCER: The Vandals topped Utah Valley 1-0 in Moscow. It was the 34th victory for 10 Idaho seniors, making them the most successful four-year group in program history. Senior Erica Hart scored for Idaho (3-8-0), while fellow senior Megan Lopez recorded the assist.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO WOMEN’S SOCCER: The Coyotes tied No. 22 Carroll College 1-1 in Caldwell. The C of I (0-3-1) scored in the 37th minute when Shea Yuma’s cross to Sarah Hicks was flicked into the net by the Carroll defense for an own goal.

C OF I VOLLEYBALL: Liz Myers had 10 kills and Jessica Peacock recorded nine kills and 13 digs as the Coyotes (10-4, 7-0 CCC) ran their win streak to seven with a 25-16, 25-19, 25-21 victory over Warner Pacific in Caldwell.
